Not every Floridian's happy place is the beach. For a lot of us, it's a canal at sunrise, an airboat idling in sawgrass, or the smell of a bait shop that's been open since before I-75 existed. What "Glades Raised" actually means

Butterfly peacock bass: the Glades' signature catch

Our Peacock Bass tee isn't a random fish graphic. Butterfly peacock bass were introduced into South Florida's canal system in the 1980s by the state's own fish and wildlife agency, and they took over — today they're one of the most sought-after freshwater gamefish in the state, and you can catch trophy-size fish in canals inside city limits. Ask any Broward or Miami-Dade angler: peacock bass season is a bigger deal than most people outside Florida realize.

Airboats, camo, and why the colors are different

Look at our coastal designs and you'll see aqua, seafoam and white. Look at Glades Raised and it's camo shells and earth-tone leather patches — tan, mossy green, brown. That's not a style choice, it's a function one: those colors work in sawgrass and hammock country the way aqua works on a boat deck.
